So it has been a time since my last post. I have not given up on technology....PROMISE!
With the holidays, Graduation!!!, brothers getting married, and buying a new house, it has been quite a few months for me--but now back to the technology.
I have kept up the assessments using the technology with the Activboards. My students are still showing the success they have had. I have had an opportunity to share my findings from my portfolio created with many staff members and other teams. It has been rewarding to see others taking many of my ideas and creations and putting them into use in their classrooms.
In terms of new technologies from me....I GOT AN IPAD MINI!!! I love the new tablet. It is just the right size and it is making for great use in the classroom. I was able to use it within t he first weeks of getting it to complete the AIMS web reading assessment. I have downloaded many apps and am putting them to the test with a few students who need work in the subjects of reading and math. My plan is to move on and start using it with a few of my SE students next.
